Clear rules for how paid visibility works on outbidlocally
Paid placement, plainly
outbidlocally sells visibility on city and category leaderboards. Businesses that place a higher verified bid appear higher on that board. That is advertising / paid placement — not an independent quality rating.
What rank means
- Rank = highest verified bid on that city × category board
- Free listings stay visible and appear under all positive bids
- Rank is not a Google ranking, review score, license check, or endorsement of the business
- USA boards are priced in USD; UK boards in EUR — markets never mix
How we label it
Bid amounts and “Claim for …” prices are shown on cards so visitors can see the commercial nature of the board. Outbound links from paid placements use rel="sponsored" where applicable. We do not sell fabricated star ratings or fake editorial reviews.
