Board & bid rules
How rank is decided on every city × category board
outbidlocally is a public local leaderboard. Rank on each board is determined only by verified bid totals for that city and service category.
Boards
- One board = one market + one city + one category
- UK boards use EUR. US boards use USD. Currencies never mix
- A bid on one board never moves you on another board
- New listings can go live immediately; we may still remove abuse
Ranking
- Highest verified paid bid ranks first
- Free listings (bid = 0) appear after every positive bid
- Equal amounts: the earlier successful payment that set that amount wins
- Pending or failed payments never change rank
Bidding
- Minimum bid defaults to $3 (USA) / €3 (UK)
- Raise your total by paying only the difference
- Duplicate listings of the same website on one board are blocked
- There is no auction end timer in the current version
Payments
- A bid is verified only after payment confirmation
- Successful bids are generally non-refundable except where required by law or approved by the operator
Fair use
- List only businesses you are authorised to represent
- No misleading names, fake locations, or spam categories
- Report problems via Contact
