Short answers about free listings, paid ranks, and boards
Is listing free?
Yes. Get listed free in your city and category. Free listings go live immediately and appear below every positive verified bid on that board.
What does rank mean?
Rank is ordered by verified bid amount on that city × category board. It is a paid placement — not a quality score, review, or Google ranking.
Do I need approval before I appear?
New listings are auto-approved for now so you show up right away on the homepage and your board. We can still remove spam or policy violations.
How do I take #1?
Pay a verified total at least one increment above the current #1 on that board (defaults: $3 USA / €3 UK minimum to enter the paid stack).
Do I pay the full amount again when raising?
No. You pay only the difference between your current verified total and the new total.
USA vs UK — which currency?
USA boards use USD. UK boards use EUR. Bids never mix across markets or boards.
Where does my business show after I list?
On your city board, in Just listed / Top local rankings on the homepage when eligible, and on your public business profile.
Can someone outbid me later?
Yes. Rank can change anytime another business places a higher verified bid on the same board.
