Terms of use

The service

outbidlocally publishes local leaderboards by city and service category. You may list a business for free. You may also pay a verified bid to climb that board. Rank is ordered by verified bid amount — it is a paid placement, not a review score, endorsement, or search-engine ranking.

Eligibility

• You must be able to enter a binding agreement where you live
• You may only list websites and businesses you are authorised to represent
• Information you submit (name, contact, location, category) must be accurate and kept reasonably up to date

Listings & boards

• Each board is one market (USA/UK) + one city + one category
• USA boards use USD (min $3). UK boards use EUR (min €3)
• Duplicate listings of the same site on one board are not allowed
• We may edit, move, hide, or remove listings that break these terms or our Rules

Bidding & payments

• Only confirmed payments change verified bid totals
• Raising a bid charges the difference between your current total and the new total
• Rank can change at any time when another business places a higher verified bid
• Successful bids are generally non-refundable except where required by law or approved by us

Prohibited use

Do not post illegal, deceptive, infringing, or harmful content; spam boards; manipulate rankings with fake accounts; scrape the site abusively; or interfere with other users. We may suspend accounts and listings that violate this.

No warranties & liability

The service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee continuous uptime, a particular rank for any period, or business results from placement. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses from use of the boards.

Changes
